Rights and obligations in Ukraine
According to Art. 26 of the Constitution of Ukraine: "foreigners and persons without citizenship, who are in Ukraine on legal grounds, can use the same rights and freedoms, obligations like citizens of Ukraine, with the exceptions established by the Constitution, laws or international treaties Ukraine ".
Special rights, which, according to the Constitution of Ukraine (Article 26), is available only to foreigners and persons without citizenship - the he right to seek asylum the procedure established by law.
Foreigners are equal before the law regardless of their origin, social and property status, race and ethnicity, gender, language, attitude to religion, type and nature of occupation and other circumstances.
The foreigners of their rights and freedoms should not be detrimental to the national interests of Ukraine, rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of its citizens and other persons residing in Ukraine.
The foreigners must respect the Constitution and laws of Ukraine and adhere to them, respect the traditions and customs of the people of Ukraine.
Legislation of Ukraine guarantees the inviolability of the person home, privacy and family life, privacy of correspondence, telephone conversations and telegraphic communications, respect their dignity as citizens of Ukraine for foreigners.
Illegal migrants, and other foreigners, and persons without citizenship, who have committed a crime, administrative or other offenses are liable under the law.
