Borispol international airport is located about 35 km from the center of Kiev, near Borispol city. The airport is the largest in Ukraine and has 62% of all Ukrainian international flights.
During Euro-2012, on the day of the final match in Kiev, Boryspil International Airport achieved a new record — it serviced 630 flights and 39 317 passangers (previous record was achieved in 2008 — 423 serviced flights). Today, Boryspil International Airport is servicing an average of 8 000 000 passangers a year, which comprises 70% of all Ukrainian flights.
