Legal visa to Ukraine

Long-term visa

Long-term visa (it is designated by a letter D, in a machine-readable zone - VD). The foreigners and stateless persons register the long-term visa  for entry into Ukraine for the purpose of the paperwork for the right to stay or accommodation at Ukraine for the term exceeding of 90 days.

The diplomatic mission or consular establishment of Ukraine makes out the long-term visa. It is single for 45 days if other isn't provided by the legislation. Or in the territory of Ukraine - department of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It can be single, two - and repeated for a period of up to three years.

The bases for registration of a long-term visa is one of the following documents:

 1)  the copy ( which is certified in accordance with the established procedure) for use of work of the foreigner or the stateless person, which is issued by the State center of employment or on its assignment by the center of employment of the Autonomous Republic Crimea, the regional, Kiev and Sevastopol city center of employment;

 2) the copy of the decision on providing permission to the immigration, which issued by territorial body or division of the State Migratory Service;     

 3) permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visa registration to members of the family of the person to whom have the status of the refugee in Ukraine;      

 4)  the original of the invitation to training of the established sample;     

 5) the invitation of state institution, the enterprise or the organization, which is the recipient of the project of the international technical assistance;

 6) the invitation of the religious organization, which is coordinated with government body, which carried out registration of the relevant religious organization, for long-term stay for the purpose of preaching of religious dogmas, execution of religious practices or other canonical activities;    

 7) the invitation of branch, office, representation or other a structural cell of the public (non-governmental) organization of the foreign state registered in accordance with the established procedure;  

 8) the invitation of representation of the foreign entity, which is registered in accordance with the established procedure, coordinated with the Ministry of economic development;   

 9) the invitation of branch or representation of the foreign bank, which is registered in accordance with the established procedure;    

 10) the application of the foreign mass media, the TV-radio coordinated with the State committee; 

 11) the application of authorities of the foreign states or the international organizations on registration of visas to the staff of diplomatic missions and consular establishments, the international organizations and their representations who entry into Ukraine for long-term stay for the purpose of performance of the official duties, and to members of their families;

 12) the invitation of the appropriate government body, which is responsible for implementation of cultural, educational, scientific, volunteer programs, for participation in which foreigner or stateless person entry into Ukraine, or the volunteer organization registered in Ukraine in accordance with the established procedure;     

 13) the document, which is confirming the fact of stay in marriage with the citizen of Ukraine (if marriage between the citizen of Ukraine and the foreigner or the stateless person is concluded outside Ukraine according to the right of the foreign state, the reality of such marriage is defined according to the Law of Ukraine "About the international private law") (2709 - 15);     

 14) the document, which is confirming belonging to members of the family of the foreigner or the stateless person, looking like on temporary or continuous residence in Ukraine;     

 15) other documents if it is provided by international treaties of Ukraine.
