Short-term visa
Short-term visa (it is designated by a letter C, in a machine-readable zone - VC). The foreigners and stateless persons register the short-term visa for entry into Ukraine if term of their stay in Ukraine doesn't exceed 90 days within 180 days from the date of the first entrance.
The short-term visa can be single, two - and repeated for six months or the period specified in documents, which is the basis for registration of such visa, but no more than for five years.
The bases for registration of a short-term visa is one of the following documents:
1) the invitation of the established sample of a host individual or host legal entities;
2) the invitation of the ministry, other central executive authority, public institution, state enterprise or state organization;
3) contract for transportation of goods and passengers motor transport, and also license for implementation of international transport;
4) certificates of the foreign Ukrainian or his personal statement. Results of interview are applied to the statement with the representative of diplomatic mission or consular establishment of Ukraine and documents or certificates which confirm the Ukrainian ethnic origin or an origin from Ukraine the foreigner or the stateless person. Spouses foreign Ukrainian and his children in case of their general entrance and stay in the territory of Ukraine submit the application and the document on confirmation of the related relations;
5) the document, which is confirming tourist character of a trip according to the Law of Ukraine "About tourism" (324/95-VR);
6) invitation of medical institution of Ukraine;
7) the document, which is confirming the state registration of a foreign investment into economy of Ukraine in foreign currency a minimum of $50 000;
8) confirmation of the Commission on questions of humanitarian assistance at the Cabinet of Ukraine about entrance of the foreigner or the stateless person for the purpose of humanitarian assistance or carrying out charity;
9) the invitation of the religious organization, which is coordinated with government body, which carried out registration of the relevant religious organization, for short-term stay for the purpose of preaching of religious dogmas, execution of religious practices or other canonical activities;
10) circulation of the head of foreign mass media on visa registration to the foreign correspondent or the representative of the foreign mass media, which entry into Ukraine for short-term stay to perform their duties;
11) the appeals of public authorities of the foreign states or international organizations.
The foreigners and the stateless persons submit a request for registration of a short-term visa no earlier than three months before the planned trip.
