The second stage (visa)

The visa is the valid permission. It is provided by authorized body of Ukraine in the form established by the legislation. It necessary for entry into Ukraine or for transit through the territory of Ukraine during the corresponding term.

Visas share on the following types depending on a purpose of visit, which designated by an alphabetic and digital code (letters of the Latin alphabet - in a machine-readable zone):

1) the transit visa (it is designated by a letter B, in a machine-readable zone - VB).  The foreigners and stateless persons register a transit visa in case of transit through the territory of Ukraine to the third states, and also implementation of transit transportation of goods and passengers by the motor transport (you can see details here).

2) the short-term visa (it is designated by a letter C, in a machine-readable zone  - VC). The foreigners and stateless persons register the short-term visa for entry into Ukraine if term of their stay in Ukraine doesn't exceed 90 days within 180 days from the date of the first entrance (you can see details here).

3) the long-term visa (it is designated by a letter D, in a machine-readable zone - VD). The foreigners and stateless persons register the long-term visa  for entry into Ukraine for the purpose of the paperwork for the right to stay or accommodation at Ukraine for the term exceeding of 90 days (you can see details here).
