Ukraine for You - The prohibition

The prohibition on forced return, or forced deportation, or extradition, or transfer of foreigners and persons without citizenship

1. A foreigner or a person without citizenship can not be forced return, or forced deportation, or extradition, or transfer to the states:

1) where their lives or freedom would be threatened for reasons of race, religion, nationality, citizenship (nationality), membership of a particular social group or political opinion;

2) where they have threat of the death penalty or capital punishment, torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment;

3) where their life or health, safety or freedom would be threatened because of the widespread violence in situations of international or internal armed conflict or systematic violations of human rights or natural or technogenic disasters, or lack of medical treatment or care that provides life;

4) where they have threat of deportation or forcible return to countries where they may be specified situations.

2. The law prohibits forced collective expulsion of foreigners and persons without citizenship.
